Designed for repair professionals

D‑Pro Diagnostic Technology

A professional-grade Soft OLED panel combined with technology designed to simplify repair setup on compatible iPhone models.

Diagnostic Compatible

Designed to support repair setup and display a compatible status in iOS, depending on the model and software version.

Soft OLED

A flexible panel delivering deep blacks, good brightness, and precise touch response.

Controlled Power Consumption

A screen selected and tested to limit excessive power consumption, especially in standby.

D‑Pro or D‑Pro+? Both versions offer the same Soft OLED panel and performance. The only difference is the level of preassembly.
Standard Configuration

D‑Pro

A Diagnostic Soft OLED screen supplied without a pre-installed sensor flex cable. The technician prepares and installs the proximity sensor using their usual method.

Pre-Installed Sensor Flex Cable

D‑Pro+

The same Diagnostic Soft OLED screen, with a pre-installed proximity sensor. This preassembled configuration reduces handling, simplifies preparation, and speeds up installation.

How does Diagnostic technology work?
1 Identification

The iPhone checks the installed screen’s electronic information and its connection to the device.

2 Setup

The additional D‑Pro circuit is designed to communicate with the iOS diagnostic and repair setup process.

3 Result

After successful setup, the iPhone may register the repair and display a compatible status in its history.

A conventional screen may work correctly while being identified as an “Unknown Part.” Depending on the model and iOS version, D‑Pro may allow a status such as “Used” to appear after the applicable procedure.

This technology may eliminate the complex transfer of the old screen’s identification circuit when the model supports it. It does not make the screen a genuine Apple part and does not mean that the repair is certified by Apple.

What are the main benefits?
More complete repair integration within iOS.
May prevent the “Unknown Part” message after successful setup.
May display a status such as “Used,” depending on the model and iOS version.
Less complex handling related to transferring the original circuit.
A flexible Soft OLED panel delivering deep blacks and precise touch response.
A design selected to maintain controlled power consumption.
Setup procedure after installation

The exact procedure varies depending on the iPhone model and iOS version. When Repair Assistant is supported:

1Install and fully test the screen before final assembly.
2Update the iPhone to the iOS version required for the procedure.
3Connect the device to a stable Wi‑Fi network and maintain a sufficient charge.
4Open Settings, then General, About, and Parts and Service History.
5Select the option to restart and finish the repair.
6Follow the on-screen instructions, then check touch response, display output, sensors, and repair status.

A tool, activation, or additional steps may be required for some models or software versions. The technician must always follow the procedure that matches the exact product being installed.

Power consumption and battery life
Standby Controlled Power Consumption

D‑Pro screens are selected and undergo comparative testing to limit excessive battery drain when the device sees little use.

Soft OLED Efficient Display Technology

Each pixel produces its own light. However, power consumption varies with brightness, displayed colors, and actual usage.

Diagnostic technology primarily supports part recognition and setup. Energy efficiency depends on the overall screen design; the Diagnostic function alone does not guarantee longer battery life.

Actual battery life varies depending on the iPhone model, battery health, brightness, iOS version, active apps, network, and usage conditions.

iOS compatibility and updates

Diagnostic technology is tested with the iOS versions available when the product is introduced. Its operation depends in part on the operating system, diagnostic tools, and Apple’s recognition mechanisms.

A future iOS update or a change to these systems could:

Change the status displayed in Parts and Service History.
Cause the “Unknown Part” message or a similar notification to reappear.
Change or interrupt the setup procedure, or require a new one.
Change certain features related to the screen or its recognition.

The screen’s hardware quality and warranty remain unchanged. However, the result obtained after the diagnostic procedure cannot be guaranteed to remain permanently available in future iOS versions.

Limited lifetime warranty and important information
Lifetime
Celltro Limited Warranty

For eligible manufacturing defects. Eligible internal Soft OLED panel breakage is also covered after inspection, in accordance with the general terms.

What remains covered

An eligible screen hardware defect, as well as eligible internal OLED panel breakage, after inspection.

Software recognition

The reappearance of an authenticity, verification, or history message following an iOS update or a change to Apple’s systems is not a covered hardware defect.

Damage and installation

External damage, impacts, cracks, liquid damage, excessive pressure, damaged flex cables, improper installation, or improper use remain excluded.

Product type

D‑Pro and D‑Pro+ screens are compatible replacement parts. They are not genuine Apple parts and are neither certified nor approved by Apple.

Subject to applicable statutory warranties, the limitation related to updates concerns software recognition only, not an eligible screen hardware defect.

To the extent permitted by law, the commercial warranty is limited to providing a remedy for the part confirmed to be defective. Labor costs, data loss, lost revenue, and other consequential damages are not covered.

Recommendations before installation
Have the screen installed by a qualified technician.
Verify compatibility with the exact iPhone model.
Inspect the screen, flex cables, connectors, and frame before installation.
Test display output, touch response, brightness, and sensors before removing protective films or applying adhesive.
Check the iOS version and follow the Diagnostic procedure for the exact model.
For D‑Pro+, test the pre-installed proximity sensor before final assembly.
Inform the end customer that this is a compatible replacement screen, not a genuine Apple part.
Explain that a future iOS update may change the status displayed.
Celltro Transparency

Compatibility with the diagnostic procedure is verified using the iOS versions available at the time of sale. A future update may change part recognition without necessarily affecting its hardware operation.
